Shop updates
For those that have been trying to get a hold of us or need to get into the shop in the next few weeks, boy do I have some good news for you
First of all if you have called in the last few days you will notice I am not answering phones except as needed. We have added a new member to the team, Steve, to help balance the workload of running the shop and tuning the cars a little more evenly. Steve is a honda guy, but he has been around DSMs/Evos for quite awhile. His brother owns one of the only mid 9 second stock bottom end FWD DSMs I know of
.
This is going to allow me to focus on tuning and getting things down in a slightly more efficient manner (and maybe not as many late nights) to make sure you not only continue to get 110% results but faster service as well. Our free tech that we have offered for so many years is going to be somewhat reduced so be prepared for that. I can still be reached as needed though, either here or via email. I am also going to be focusing more on internet specials and group buys. I will be posting them both here and on our website.
NEXT-
The last 2 months have been very crazy as far as engine builds. There seems to be a sudden rash of failures as new owners buy used (and abused) evos and dsms, not knowing what has been done or how to maintain them, and it has been catastrophic. We currently have 10 engine builds done, but because of the intense amount of time needed to get each car torn down, prepped, rebuilt, broke in, etc. it has managed to back us up some. I am happy to say that we have added another guy in the shop to help smooth this out and its working really well. Some of you might know TJ (driver of the white CRX, and basically our Leonardo DaVinci) already and we have added his brother Kevin. Kevin does our quad stuff and car stuff when there is no quads. He has probably installed more turbo kits in quads than anyone west of the Mississippi. As of right now our 2-3 week backlog really looks like only a few days, but I am sure that will fill up pretty quick.
FUTURE-
We are still working on getting the county to finalise all the permits so we can pave the lot and more importantly move the dyno back to the shop. The 10 mile commute each way, while great for making sure cars drive right, is inconvenient to our customers and annoying when I forgot my keys
While there is no set time for this to go down, it is still in the works and still proceeding along nicely.
We couldnt or wouldnt need to do any of this though if it wasnt for you, our NW Evo community (and Honda/DSM/etc.) so we want to say a big thanks to all of your support through the years

Sounds great Aaron! glad to hear.
I like the paving idea...and I like the dyno moving to the shop.
You forgot to mention the newly dressed floor and the new lift
NOT TO MENTION THE PAINT JOB on the building!
I also got to meet Kevin, he's a great addition to the ER crew
