Exclamation My Dyno Experience at English Racing

First and foremost let me give thanks to Aaron and Lucas and English Racing.

I've been reading some good feedback from the forums and decided to call them last Monday. I was fortune to have Aaron answer the phone and explained my situation.

My car was running pretty rough with intermittent idle, and poor performance. I needed a tune and overall inspection.

I asked if he was available to diagnose the problem and without hesitation he agrees! I bring the car down and realize it took 3 hours. I also get a little lost in the process. I get to the shop and see a bunch of evo's - nicely tuned I might add and few that need some work, and also a green monster in the process. hehe. I see that a few mechanics who are busy doing work, and no-one was standing around.

Aaron comes out and I instantly feel welcomed.
He investigates and we head down to the dyno, I found out I needed new sparks and a new fuel filter. Without a fuel filter at the dyno, Lucas brings down a fuel filter and helps diagnose the car. It was also a great meeting and speaking with him for the first time. I thought that was pretty awesome in itself. Throughout the process we talked about everything from Tesla; not the roadster to even food..various projects, turbo quads...to early days of tuning. I had really good conversation with him, something that is rare these days.

I never felt out of place and was very well informed about the process of tuning and suggestions for future mods. They never once tried to sell me anything and only offered the best options.

customer service
knowledgeable staff
for location...but I feel it is very well worth the drive.

Thanks Aaron and Lucas!!!
I highly recommend them and will be my shop of choice.

Thanks Ny, Foresaken, Nonchalant, Fresh, Josel. Let's have a wicked white meet soon!

Freshjuicebox...why did you sell your car? It was pretty sweet!

Mods added to OP.

And yes..I did transform to the JDM rear recently, new pics soon.

Elree thanks again for coming down and thanks for the review. One thing I have liked about the Evo community (DSM for that matter) is that we all seem to have cars in common and get a long pretty well. Some car culture is definitely not so blessed...cough*subaru*cough.

Thanks Aaron , experience was unexpected because I felt out of place in one of the recent everett meets. But English Racing changed the game!

Great numbers! Glad you had a good experience at ER.

What parts do you have to safely run 25psi? I'm running 22 psi and wondering if I can push it at all. Fuel pump for sure.

Yeah Elree. Your car is definitely acting up and running really rich. Stutters on acceleration, crazy black smoke, and AFR's maxed out on the AEM gauge at 10 at half throttle. Just go and get it fixed man. Be done with it.
