alright, first off, by now i'm sure a few of you know me. i post on here quite a bit and try to answer questions where i can....

i'm only 17, but i do work and i invest most of my money in my car. i just recently purchased my first mod, a header and downpipe, then decided to go all out and get some nice rims and tires. i searched for a long time and finally made my decision.

well tonite somethin really ****ty happened...

i went to go pick my girl up from mcdonalds, and sat inside to take care of some homework until she was going to get off of work. someone walks up to me and asks me if the what mitsu is my car... "the window is broken"

i walk out and there it is.. shattered all over the pavement. a ****ing giant rock is sitting on my passenger's side seat and glass is all over my car. it even made it into the back seat and all the way over the dash on to the driver's side.

funny thing was that i had just gotten done talking to some guys about my ride before... some kids i knew that dropped outta high school. they seemed cool and all, but i'm pretty sure they did it. no proof... mcds doesn't bother with cameras, and 10 pm there aren't a lot of customers.

my question is WHY? is it because my parents decided to get me something nice? i'm seriously considering selling my rims and tires (just taking the ****ing loss), selling my header, and taking whatever to buy a piece of **** to drive around. i love this car... i've invested a lot of time and money into finding ways to improve it and just simply reading up about it. maybe just have myself on it as a weekend driver... i dunno what to do. in a way, it makes me feel like i should go do something else with my life.. but i actually felt like i had kinda found my calling as a hobby, you know?

yea.. my spirits are crushed. i kept the rock... if i find out who did it, it'll go through their ****ing head.

 

dude I'm sorry to hear about that, punk kids that's a load of crap I hope you catch them, but you can't let the haters keep you down you just gotta keep on doing whatever you have passion for!!

 

just keep the car bro and just buy a 2way alarm.. so the next time that happens, just go out there and throw the rock at them .. but whatever u do, keep the car, the rims, and everything else u got on there.. you'll be losing out more when you sell those parts than the price you'll have to pay for the window to get changed..

 

yeah sorry to hear bro... shizz like that happens to me too bro... but you can't let haterz bring you down... if you like fixin up your ride, do it... it's a hobby... don't let anyone take that away from you... and like you said, your only 17... i'm 21 and this shizz has been happen to me since i was 16 and started driving a bronco... hope everything gets better... sorry so long

honestly tho, i might buy a piecer to drive around during the week. maybe lower insurance too...

 

go and get a nice alarm with a pager...I got the Viper 790..has a real cool pager, and lets you know if some one is f***ing with your ride. Just a little over $500...comes with remote start too

 

man i hate when other vandalize your car, i been getting hated on by those stupid bird. every morning theres **** on my car again. dam wish i can shoot them all down!!! teach them to mess with a lancer owner!

that sucks dude. i feel your pain. i had my window smashed in too, and they ripped out all my stereo equipment. they cleared out the glove box too, including insurance and even maps. sucks that some people just dont have respect for others. i'd keep everything though, just dont park around there anymore, especially at night. you dont wanna be drivin around some **** car just cause some gutter punks are jealous. if you have that much invested, you should do what others have said and get an alarm that will tell you when people are breaking in.

 

If it makes you feel any better.. Same thing happen to me.. well almost.. they used a screw driver.. car still had temp plates (nothing to steal)

They also broke in my neighbors integra shell that was full of old stock parts... Idiots

 

Keep modding your car 'cause it is obvious that is what you love to do. You can't go through life worried about **** like that. Almost everyone I know has had something like that happen to them. Get your car fixed and keep fixing her up. Those **** will get what is coming to them.............KARMA IS A *****.

 

It comes with the teritory. Both of my cars have been hurt AFTER i started modding. When people are jealous this is what happens, man just stick with it and get an alarm thats the best you can do.

 

It happens to the best of us, so don't let some fools dictate your hobbies. Lucky you just got a broken windshield. I am in fact leaving work today to get my car back after being in a shop for the past month. Punks did 7k worth of damage TO THE INTERIOR!! Just so they could steal my turbo timer a what $100 item?, Then the dumb asses cut the wires so close to the back of the timer I dont think they could reuse it....smart. They didnt bother to just unplug the damn harness. So to get the now worthless to them timer, they cut open my top busted the top half of my steering column and shredded my leather interior. Well I guess I can look at the bright side..It only costed me a few hundred (deductible) for brand spankin new leather interior and new factory top from mitsu...it cost over 7k to replace this stuff. Asswipes!

 

dont let it get to you. Just keep on modding an get an alarm. Hell i've had soo much **** happen to my car by haters. Its been keyed, i had pine sol poored on the car (ruined the paint) and i had some sit or hit my hood and put a dent in it, i had someone slash a tire. I get pissed off call the cops do the hoel report thing, i dont bother with insurance anymore cause insurance gave me 35 dolalrs and said buff out the damage from the pine sol so i gave p on them. I just keep on modding and all, my next thing i'm getitng myself is an alarm which u shoudl look into also. I wonder if they make an alarm that shoots out flames or sumtin
