What am I getting myself into...

For those that have not herd I had an issue with my gf's 2005 evo8 trans going out. At first I thought it was the t-case, after I thought about it more than had it looked at by the mitsubishi dealer I found out it was indeed just the trans. Long story short I got a rebuilt trans and upgraded the t-case while I was at it with a rebuilt one with new ring and pinion gears. Along came a new transplate to my already unexpected project....

It's a lot of work, but it's actually pretty straight forward if you're used to working on cars. Good luck, and post up if you have questions.

Thanks for the support guys! Ive done a bit of research and it seems a lot easier than the s4 drivetrain swap I did into my other a4 chassis. I actually had to re-pin the interior harness to mate with the engine harness (pain in the a**). Only reason im doing this is because I got a really good deal on the engine and it has less than 20k miles, oh and of course MIVEC! Might try to do cams, cam gears, TB, engine mounts and at least a better pressure plate and new oem disk

Just took the valve cover and discovered there's ARP head studs and also looks to have a aftermarket headgasket! Was hoping to find aftermarket cams but they look stock..
