reputable local shop to go over my longblock

Before I swap this evo 9 engine in I really would like to have a shop go over the engine, I know the guy I got the engine from had some work done at ER such as the ARP headstuds, clutch, flywheel somewhat recently but as far as the rest of the engine im not sure. Maybe ill have them upgrade the rod bearings and bolts or the valvetrain. But im really just not sure where to go at this point and looking to do something this friday on my day off. Thanks in advance

Some random guy off CL which is kinda why I wanna have it looked at before I go through all the trouble of doing the evo 9 swap and or sell my good running evo 8 motor and be forced to fix this motor. All I know is the guy lived in vancouver, had an english racing sicker on the valve cover, ACT pretty new looking 6 puck sprung disk and your guys signature on the flywheel. Looks pretty stock besides the headstuds. The guy I got it from had a 6speed trans so im sure it was out of an MR. OH and one main detail of why I want someone to look at it is because it has JB weld on the front right freeze plug on the block... Aaron do you guys have ACL bearings in stock? maybe some rod bolts or valve springs and some decent cams in stock? PM me a few estimates of how much its gonna cost to go over the motor than pretty much whatever I can have installed in one day because I live in seattle and friday morning is the only time I would be able to come down. I would rather not have to leave the motor anywhere that's hours away but I would really like to take the motor to you guys for the day. Thanks aarron

Its not going to be a day job, expecially on a friday. I saw the same motor on CL and almost bought it but decided I didnt really need another builder here.

I'll PM prices in a sec.

You might be able to find someone to take the motor down for you. that's how my motor got down to them.

wasn't able to barrow a truck to get the motor down to ER Hard to get someone to get those phones down there! tried to call to let aaron know I couldn't make it.

On another note im not gonna convert to SD when its just a daily running on pump gas and a original fp green. To his own but I think under 500hp isn't really gonna make much of a difference, also don't feel like re-tuning the car anytime I make small changes such as upper or lower IC pipes, how cold and warm the temps are here all the time. Ill stick with the stock stuff, remember this is a girls daily driver not my personal car to build a bunch of ish. Cams and internals are about as far as this build is gonna go.
