So, my name is Nick. For the last 9 years i have owned only VW's. I recently just sold my last VW and purchased my first EVO. And let me say, so far i really like it(aside from a few things)...any way here are a few of the vw's i have built ...None of them were for their speed, mostly for there appearance...






now that i have flooded your minds with what i had and the quality/style of what i produce....

I recently picked up a 2003 evo. I'm sure you have seen it before, I believe the previous owner was/is on here. I'll just show you.





by far the fastest car i have ever owned...my plans for it at the moment are fluid changes(dif, trans, transfer case, and motor[ieil, coolant, brake fluid]), front lip(ordered a varis rep), vortex generator(ordered from rexspeed), new wheels(probably some rota grids...i know played as ****), boost gauge(ordered), and a wideband(ordered an AEM uego), and to get it tuned...

Any way, that about wraps my intro... If anyone wants any photo work done let me know, I don't charge, I just like to go shooting.

Did you buy this off a guy named Nick as well?

 

i purchased it from a guy named mark who bought it from a guy named nick.
the guy i bought it from had it for about a month then sold to me. picked it up for what i think is a good deal... there were some things i had to fix already(front rear trailing arm bolt worked it self loose and almost fell out, and guy i bought it from hacked off the back muffler and put a $30 ebay can on it...i swapped it for a HKS hi power muffler)...

sounds like you know the car...anything i should know about it?

yup, i miss that one the most.

 

I tuned the car last and it had made 336whp. Nick is a DSM OG, Mark and his wife got pregnant which is why it came up for sale.

That car used to have the plate the read "P.O.S.EVO" had to add the periods.

Nick bought it from another OG named Matt. Matt has the most resold 2G in the world (sold over 20 times in 3 years) hopefully that doesnt follow this one Nick had it for quite awhile though.

honestly i love the car. i'll defiantly be keeping it for a while. just trying to keep ahead on maintenance for the moment, and getting it to my standard of quality before i try to make more power.

If I remember correctly, nick changed all the fluids before he sold it so that would be a waste of money if he did for sure. Also, use oem fluids for the drivetrain. Fp(forced performance) has an oil bulletin about motor oil too that is a good read. You bought a very well maintained and tastefully modded Evo. Good luck your plans for this car, but please don't cammo it out or any other type of euro styling. Btw I use to like euros too so I'm not hating on you, evo's are just not euro. If you want to sell the rims that the car came with please pm me about them. Good score on the Evo too!


*edit: JohnBradley is the S***! Have him tune the car/do anything to it.

car wont be camo'd...i promise. as for euro styling...i can't promise anything...clean and simple and if a bit of euro flare happens to come through, well, what do you expect, euro is what i truly know. i can also promise you, it wont be rice.
