Umm color isn't really a big deal for me, I've been looking at silver ones, blue, white, red... Basically anything except for yellow, haha.

 

Paid about 10k for mine more than a year ago witk 90k.

Check for tranny issues, TC problems, engine compression.
I have more than 107K now and the tranny shift perfectly, TC never whine and it's running strong.

Very impressed with the evo, but my DSM was with 140k miles in the original motor, 7 bolts and running 11...So I'm already sold.

FWIW, Silver seems to be popular in the area. The most rare (in the area) seem to be Red, Blue, Gray, and then maybe Black? There are two shades of Blue, and the older one seems more rare than the newer one. Of course Yellow is the most rare in the area, but you said you don't want that.

My roommate is getting rid of his 06 IX SSL for 19-20k IIRC. It has VIII wheels with snow tires and IX wheels with stock advans. Around 40k miles, Swift/Bilstein springs and shocks and whiteline bars. English racing turbo back, ETS 4" FMIC, and ETS slim battery. Also PLX wideband and a boost gauge just dangling in the glove box...

Needs a serious bath from some mountain snow trips, and the rear o2 got damaged from a truck tire in the road so the CEL is on. ER exhaust just kind angled it weird. Aaron is gonna reflash it before though to make the rear o2 unnecessary and give it the forced pass flash.

OP Good luck on finding a nice evo. Let the guys in the area help you. The NW has a bunch of standup guys and they won't lead you astray... Except for maybe Justin, he has a ralliart and don't let him tell you it's an evo
