It should not mess up your tune for disconnecting the battery.i remember asking Lucas English about this long time ago when I am getting my retuning done.

Haha man you just need to find someone that spends a lot of time in their garage, and just hang out and watch.

The deck, with the wiring kit, is plug and play.

I usually hard-wire my decks in, meaning I use the plug to factory wiring that they come with, cut of the OE plug on the car, and wire the open (female) end that the deck came with straight to the factory wiring. It's cleaner, less crap, but is a lot more work, and a bit of a pain when you change decks again, unless you stay with the same manufacture.

 

^this, about the plug and play part. Andrew's way obviously works as well, but not needed, especially on your first one and just doing the deck.

 

probably also a how-to that you could follow on here for the removal/install part as well.

Give use your results on this guy. I love alpine and really want something that will both charge and play pandora through my iphone.

I have a lot of trips to packwood this year and could really use a larger music selection than my CD case can handle
