GI: Seattle area group dent removal day

Just checking in again to see if any of the locals wanted to get together for a spring time dent removal day?

If you dont know about the last one it had about 8 cars and maybe 40 dents (~20 of them on JoeyB's subie). I believe those who attended last time will attest to the quality of work performed. He is very good at his work.

I am NOT selling anything here nor do I receive kickbacks in any way (I dont even have any dents at this time). Just have a friend that does awesome work and is mobile and want to help the locals! He gives great deals as he gets alot of business at one location.

Dont have a specific time/date, just gauging interest at this point.

In general, paintless dent removal doesnt involve paint or touchups. He can get the dent out, but will most likely leave the touchup to you. (although I have quite a bit of experience with that and can help out as i'm usually sitting around on these days.

X2 Ryan. I don't have any dents but my front bumper has seen better days.

I'd be interested in some paint repair and a clear bra. Do you know if its mandatory to totally repaint before a clear bra or are the chips simply covered up and clear bra is applied? I'd be interested in that for sure.

^Waiting for Joey to get 20 dents removed

Kyle "AKA - Da Dent Guy" is VERY good. I had one bad dent that I was told would be $650 to fix. He fixed it like new for $40 in twenty mins!

How much does he charge? I have two very small dents that are hardly noticeable, but they annoy me.

Clear bra is just that, a clear bra. It will not hide the imperfections on the bumper.

I had 4 dents removed for $60 (2 bad dents and 2 that are not that bad). Very happy with his work. I just washed the car yeasterday and didn't notice any dents, so I'll have to pass this time, but I might come over just to hang out

I have kind of a gnarly one on the rear quarter/bumper by the passenger-side rear door. If he could work on it that'd be buh-dass.

I'll be interested. I have 2 small dents that I always see, and it's annoying.

So translation is that the bumper will need repaint and simple touch up paint wont cut it?

yes, you will need to repaint first. Clearbra wont fix or hide anything.

As there seems to be enough interest, i'll contact my guy and get something setup. He only accepts cash and will take a look at your car and quote you a price up front. Also, he really likes it if you pull any interior trunk pannels if you have dents back there. Saves him time and your just sitting around waiting for a while anyway.

The meeting spot will once again be my garage in south bellevue, and maybe this time we can get some belly dancing?
