Thanks for the warm welcome Derek (and everyone). I have always loved the Evo, so even though this one needs some love I am very excited to finally have one.

Supra love will always be there though!

I tried to buy a galant from you a long time ago but you wouldn't take my offer and eventually sold it for less IIRC... :P . Welcome!
I have never owned a Galant, but always wished I could find a clean one! Seems to be hard to do though, and my luck would be I would find it when I wasn't in a position to buy it. HAHA

To everyone else, I got emails and PMs and will be getting back to everyone later this week and see what all works out best. I will also pay a visit to the boys at English Racing and see what I can dig up there. Just been hectic with work and travel but want this Evo back on the road!

Thanks again everyone!

Hahahahahaha that is priceless.

John came and went shopping in the backyard for parts. Got most of the non body related parts but he still needs a powersteering bracket if anyone has one.

haha. Nice post scoopEvo. HAHA.

That's awesome you got an Evo John! Are you going to do the pnp Motec or the M880? One of my good racing buddies I went to college with is working at Motec now... you'll have to harass him if you get the chance. Paul Marsh

A huge thank you to Aaron and Lucas up at English Racing for loading me up with a bunch of used parts for the project. Great guys, and one of the few shops that I can refer customers to without worry.

I haven't gotten on here a lot, just lurk once in a while. Between the popularity of the reflash versus standalone on the Evo and English Racing being so local I haven't historically worked with too many Evo's. Except a pull or two in yours!

Rallycross, yes indeed I will have mine out there!!! Maybe a lot of track days and other stuff too.....

Thanks Eric! I have a M800 gold box sitting here to go in it, just need to build the pnp adapter. I also have a MoTeC MDC programmable diff controller for it as well. Probably the only two modifications I do to it for a while! I am trying VERY hard to avoid sliding down that slippery slope of 4G63 modification. HAHAHAHA

What office does Paul work at?

Huntington Beach.

You have to just change the turbo to a ball bearing unit... Like the hks 7460 . Makes it a hoot for transient response!
