Track day at PIR

Cascade club will be having a Track day at PIR on 4/29.
I am registered and was wondering who else is planning on making to this event?

The Wife and I will both be in the Event in the same car. Going to really beat the EVO down.

Well that was awsome day, really puts in perspective car handling dynamics and drivers ability to control it safely.

It was just Lucas and me to represent EVO crowd. we need more evos on the track. Seriosly if you guys never done this before its great to try and get some "race driver experience"

I had my boost controller in OFF mode, so just wastegate of 19PSI creeping up to redline abit. I would estimate to be about 400-450WHP which is more than most cars on the track and plenty enough.

Glad u guys had fun and no one broke their car, I would have loved to go but my stock struts have recently decided they do not like 630 whp and violently wheel hop at all speeds on full throttle so I need to save some coin for some coilovers.
Plan on attending several events next time I am in town.

I think next event is on may 14th. I doubt you will be able to safely use that much power safely unless you are advance track driver most issue is full spool boost spike coming out of the corner.

I had a hunch you were on the gate, I coouldn't see all 600+ whp tearing up this course hehe It's very cool to see these ER 2.4's take a beating thats for sure. Makes the anticipation for mine grow that much more!

Was an awesome day on the track. Was no Chicane at PIR that day so the 145-150mph down the front straight felt pretty good. Loved the new Raybestos RT43's that I got from Girodisc that I put up front. My old Powerslot rotors warped a bit but the stopping was flat amazing.

My instructor asked me what pads they were he seemed pretty impressed.

I drove about 115mi around PIR and started with full tank and added around 18gal of E85 through the day and left with just under a 1/2 tank.

I do have some in car gopro stuff. Still debating if I want to put up a whole section again or just clips off good laps.

On one off the sections I had the go pro inside hanging from the sun roof. You can see my face in the Mirror I had no idea I move my eye brows so much. I spent more time laughing at my self than watching my car go around the track

That just means you're wise

I can't wait to get out there, but gonna have to wait till the end of the season before I'll make it. I want to really break this car in before I go.

Last time I went I was the only Evo... and everyone knew it... it rained later that day

Cascade is a great group. Make sure you sign up with them if you plan on doing more events.

I want to start getting in to tranking and taking mine to the strip after ER gets done "Doin Work" on my car. I should be home sometime early june. I just need to get a killswitch installed since my battery is in the trunk.
