Little Cruise around the Mountain

Yesterday me and two friends drove around the Mt. Rainier Loop. Its about a 4 hour drive but we stopped multiple times along the way. We had a great time driving around all the switchbacks and up/down all the hills.

Gauging interest in a cruise sometime end-of-July to do the same. It would a great drive for all of us. It is $15 per car to enter the National Park...so keep that in mind. I bought a year long pass on sunday for $30 and its good until the end of June next year since I feel I will be taking this route several more times this summer. As a meeting spot for this trip, Sumner/Bonney Lake would serve as a good starting point. We would end up finishing on Hwy 7 in Spanaway/Tacoma area. Or we could end at my house with a BBQ since it is at the end of the route and I have plenty of parking

We took a ton of pictures, here are a couple.

I would love to do that cruise. Can we plan it for the end of July? I will be out of town from the 15th-23rd.

Indeed it is, I usually go with friends on motorcycles, but considering I have an Evo now I actually had more fun than on the bikes.

Well I was exhausted from the lack of sleep the morning before. I wasn't home from our saturday night adventure until like 4:15am and didn't fall asleep until like 5am. Then woke up at 8 am on sunday to get ready and meet up with my friends. The drive honestly woke me up and with all the stops we made being a chance to get out and stretch made things easier.

There is a spot on Forest Service Road 73 that has a bit of an open area were we proceeded to do multiple AWD donuts
