First off Drag Racing is not my cars sole purpose, (im more in to road racing) but at Nos Forum fest I was finally able to get my car in to the low 11's.
I turned up my 2 step up to 7k and just did an easy launch and did a 1.9 60ft, pretty happy with the results but I look forward to going back out and trying to hit a 10.

I would love to but I will likely be still working 7 days a week down in Portland till september, I do plan on attending NWAudi Club Quattrofest at the end of the year though at PIR.

Yes, and yes my second quarter mile time was 11.4, I had a better R/t same sixty foot and 126 but slower time, go figure. I think my Intercooler got heat soaked next time I am going to bring a 10 dollar garden sprayer with ice in it.


As far as the civic goes, it lost before the race even started when it red lighted and 13.5 for a car that loud with slicks is really pretty slow.

 

You can try playing around with a few things to help with the 60'. I don't know if 7k is a bit high or not. Can't remember if you have a black or the 35R or something. If you're inducing wheel spin like mad coming off the tree, you can try the 2-step at 6k. What kind of street tires are you running?

Just saw the video. 35R. LOL. I think you have to come out of the hole harder, but not so hard that you're spinning too much. Come out the gate aggressive and you easily have a 10 sec pass I think.

 

There are several factors here that I need to adress before I try and go harder on the launch, and go out again to hit a 10.

1. I am running Falken Azeniths 255's and will be switching to Hankook RS3
2. I know I can launch harder just worried about breaking my tcase or tranny, I migth have my T-Case upgraded or just have a backup of each.
3. My Quartermaster twin sucks I hate it now and they dont last for ****e, I will be going to Exedy Tripple.
4. Next Time out will have a Magnus intake Mani, Switching form Cosworth M2's to FP5R's, and will try running open dump off the downpipe, (hopefully my car will be able to be heard over retardedly loud civics.
