gauge installer recommendations
Can someone recommend a shop in the Seattle/Eastside area that can install some aftermarket Autometer gauges? The gauges are a pyrometer, electrical oil pressure and electrical water temp. I'm going to do the interior hookup and cable routing through the firewall but don't want to tackle the installation of the senders, especially the one for the pyrometer. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Andre at www.pinamotorsports.com in Kent has extensive experience tuning and working with the 4G63 (I've had him work on my Eclipse a couple times), and has had an Evo VIII in his shop for upgrades quite a bit recently. Give him a call or e-mail, and I'm sure he'd do it for a reasonable price.
Marcus Herman (http://www.hermanracingservice.com/) is another major DSM and Evo mechanic in the area, and does aftermarket work at his shop in Renton when he's not working as one of the lead mechanics at Renton Mitsubishi. Several of my friends have had him do work with nothing but positive things to say.
You local Evo guys should come along for some of the DSM meets and drives too

NWDSM usually has a couple meets a year, which are fun drives on twisty roads out in the mountains or down in the valleys. Here are some pictures from one of last year's events: http://dcarlton16.home.comcast.net/HRR.html
There are also some other meets run by the bunch on DSMTuners that are more car show/hang out events, but can also be fun.
Evos are always welcome!

There are 2 meets held every year by NW-DSM, the first usually in March is Hood River Run. This is a big turnout meet since everybody from WA to OR comes out and enjoys scenery and lots of open driving. The 2nd is in Aug/Sep and it's the Mount St. Helens Run. Mountain roads the whole way with a bunch of great cars out this year. Here's the pictures I took at Mt. St. Helens Run this past year:
