Good place to get Evo IX tuned in Colorado??

new to this forum and new to an evo aslo! just purchased an evo a few days ago and have done some moderate bolt ons, so far has tubular exhaust manifold, turbo back exhaust, k&n intake, e3's, boost gauge and ordered a wideband but not exactly sure where to put the o2 sensor, i also plan to do an access port, walbro 255 and injectors in the next couple weeks but i also need help on choosing an injector! so i would like to know where a good shop would be to get my evo tuned in colorado. thanks in advance for the help!

Tobz Performance tuning in Denver,Co.

Also i would forget the Access port and just do a stock ecu tune. Brian is the man and will take care of anything you need.

Tell him Nik sent you! I used to work for him.

Thanks! Just the kinda info im looking for, I wasn't too sure about the access port so I appreciate that. I've been reading all over that all the mods aren't really worth anything unless you have a good tune to back it up. Any suggestion on injectors? Its a daily driver but wouldn't mind loading up and going to the strip either.

I would forget about the Access port. Just stick to the stock ECU and you should be fine. You could actually do alot more with the stock ECU than with an access port! Do you plan on going with a bigger turbo anytime soon? or plan on keeping that for a while?

Yes a good tune is extremely important for the best power, reliability and drivability.

Injectors depend on your power goals and what fuel you want to use (91 or E85).

Djaftershock, I plan on sticking with the stock turbo for a while but a year or so down the road id like to do a different turbo and I/c.

Nikg, for injectors id like to get as much power as possible with the mods and stock turbo without losing dependability and driveability. I don't even know what a realistic number would be for that. I am planning on upgrading the clutch after the new year too.

BHM they are a up and coming company. They have tuned viii-X, and work with eclipses and galants.

Is it possible to get the service engine light off when you get one tuned or will a good tune run clean enough to turn it off itself?? The light came on after the test pipe was put on

Tobz will get it turned off. Just make sure you mention it to him.

Also we have our own forum called Coloradoevo.com. Join it when you get a chance.

Kind of late but got my evo tuned at tobz in early december and what a difference! Started out with 230hp.
After tune:
315/340 @23psi
strictly bolt ons
91 octane

I also picked up some mpg and walked on an srt8 jeep on the way home

Tobz did a hell of a job, and even tuned my car on a sunday. I plan on doing tons more business with him!
