OK Gentlemen we are appoximately two months away from our open track day at PIR. Please contact Chris Heinrich (chrisjheinrich@aol.com) if you are going to need to take a drivers training school prior. There is a school coming up around the end of August (26/27th), then another one in September.

And YES you need to attend both days. Or better said, "August 26th is a classroom section at PCC, then August 27th is the actual track school at PIR".

We plan to start collecting payment for the open track day in about two weeks.

If you have any questions about the event, please don't hesitate to email me.

Regards,

Bill Evia
Cascade Sports Car Club

Expensive? Compared to what? Most of the other clubs open track days are a lot more. Hell I believe Mini Cooper is having an open track day at PIR which is about $425 dollars.

Have you ever done a CSCC drivers school? I yet to meet someone who's taken one of our schools, and said that it wasn't worth every penny.

It's expensive compared to the amount of money I have. Plus, after a day like that new tires would be needed.
I'd love to take part in a drive school, if the money somehow dropped into my lap. Anybody wanna buy a mountain bike??

Ok, I lied... I will be at a track day with the Lotus Club this Friday at PIR as the weather was looking too good to pass on it. We'll see if my Advans make through the day. This will certainly be my last track day of the season though, as after 5 track days & daily driving miles... they are clearly near their end.

The maximum limit was set to 60 cars. Right now that's what I have signed up, but I still have a bunch who have not paid. So come track day, if I have space that has not been paid for, then yes by all means we'll take your money that day...if you qualify.

I hope to see many of you out at the open track day, either driving or just spectating.

I still have about a half dozen opening for the open track day, as I have had a few dropouts this past week.
