need info

i am thinking about ordering exhaust from vishnu, i am not sure though, if because i am on the coast- and have no deq requirments, if i can run cat-less. does anyone know where i can find this info. i really dont care if it is legal or not, i pretty much keep a lawyer on retainer for things like this, but i am curious as to the fines involved, or what exactely the law says. if you have any info, let me know. thanks.

my understanding is the emissions equipment as installed on the car must remain intact during road use. don't know the extent of OR fines, but i know it's really nasty up here in Washington. They gave me a hard time with the rally car about not having a cat even though I was able to pass tailpipe emissions test without one (gotta love fully programable fuel systems).

YMMV,
Greg
