'Windy City' GVR-4 Winter Refresh...

Its been 5 years so...I Did a 'Budget Build'.
Stock bore still,Block honed, cleaned & painted, New ACL race bearings, new Wiseco Rings[piston tops cleaned & Scat rods were good], Crank polished,balanced & cleaned, new ARP's, 1.6mm Cometic HG, New Oil squirters, Reworked head [new guides, valve stem seals, 3g lifters, CROWER 272's, milled, cleaned, etc.], same BC springs/retainers, new oil squirters, new injector seals & o-rings, OEM rear main seal /gaskets/new belts, new galant alternator, rebuilt/repucked ClutchNet clutch, flywheel resurfaced properly, 63mm ported TB.com repaired by Steve, Trans rebuilt by Matt,new ProSport catchcan setup, new FuelLab filter, a couple of parts ceramic coated, etc..etc..
My guy Martin built & assembled the motor.

[Galant's came with Black engine covers & rare, used a DSM one]



Love the HX35!, bought it new in 05'

Motor In!

Currently on second oil change, breaking in the motor [as weather permits] and getting it Buffed & detailed by my guy ''Detailer Mike''..

Well, Mike finished the car last week and it turned out amazing!

Thanks! it's been a process. I've had the car for 9 years, it was bone stock & clean when I got it. [Im the 3rd owner]. Had a 1g GSX before that. Been into Mitsu's since 95' [i'm a old ****! ] My 2 daughters love the car, so I just try to keep it running good and drive it.

Gorgeous car, I always liked these too. So potent, yet so understated.
