what can the outlander do that the evo can't??

so I was just thinkin of my evo and how awesome if a vehicle it is. in all seriousness, it can do anything and go anywhere: Tarmac, wet/dry, ice, snow, mud, gravel, uneven terrain, off road, etc. it can even tow, and haul.

so I was thinkin... why doesn't mitsu replace the outlander line with the evo? awd, 4 door, 5 seater, sawc, turbo, ect...

I wanna hear some ansers lol

ground clearance and cargo space. it's an SUV... every car company produces an SUV because lots of people buy them.

ground clearance okay maybe an extra few inches, but really a fitted evo is formidable on any terrain.

and as for more cargo.. I fit my hockey bag, sticks, snowboard, xbox, clothes, and all my college stuff in/on my evo nicely

i have an outlander and an exo x..

evo is not even being close to a replacement for an small suv.

the evo is an awesome vehicle but it does not even come close to outlander

for capacity and drive comfort.

you obviously don't have kids...
trust me, as SUV/crossover almost becomes a necessity with kids...

How can you even suggest to replace an suv with a high performance 4 door sedan? In technicality evo is a 4 door sedan but we all know it doesnt do **** compared to an actual 4 door sedan. No trunk, back seat can only fit kids or tiny people in. Anyone above 6 feet ends up in a brain trauma in the back seat.

Not complaining... pointing out the facts.

That’s completely false, have you ever sat in the back of your evo? There is tons of leg and head room and I am 6 ft tall.

yeah i was about to say the same thing... my wife says it's more comfortable in the back of the evo then it was in the back of my 3-series bmw...

EDIT: not that my wife is 6ft tall... just a general statement about the amount of room/legroom in the backseat.

I agree with this. I actually pack a fair bit of crap in the trunk too. 3 series trunk is bigger, but interior space between the two cars is comparable and I go back and forth between both all of the time.

Neither compares to an SUV of course.

Well if they would have just took the Ralliart way with the Outlander it would have been perfect!! But Mitsubishi is....dare I say retarded, in that sense. A turbo charged Outlander ralliart would have been perfect.
