I plan on going with 3000K's in the foglight housing since it really works well in the rain/fog/dusk/dawn on the DSM. I just haven't had an opportunity to see how easy it is to get to the bulb housing.[/QUOTE]

super easy you just pull straight forward on the plactic shroud, then unscrew the 3 mounting bolts, dont unscrew the vissable bolt with the should still on it is the elignment scew to raise and lower the lights beam level.

Agreed. Not to mention...people definitely see you coming. Although if you wrapped the foglights, how does the light emit through the vinyl? Or did you mean you wrapped the housing? I know some people that try to just tint the lens yellow, but is nowhere effective as having the HID's below.

Good to know. One more thing to add to the small mod list I have. Thanks for the advice.

I Have the 3k fogs which is great and puts out a good light output and its what i have used in the past. I also wrapped the lens in yellow tint vinyl, designed to emit light through it. If you have a 5 or 6k bulb behind it it would turn the light output yellow. I only added the film for a added protection against rocks. But it turned out awesome on my color car. I dont like to spray lights to tint them any color because it doesn't offer protection, and is a pain to take off if it will come off. The vinyl just peels off and you have perfect lens still.

I wrap lights and do LEDs as a side job. I can wrap just about anything, I have done a couple roofs and other things. I may be wrapping my roof sometime soon. Currently I have smoked and yellow film to wrap but can get just about any color.
