Prices paid for O. Sport
Noob here.
I am negotiating an '13 LE FWD. The dealer priced it aggressively to the point that it's embarrassing to huggle.
Anyway, i think the market is that way when it comes to car prices. Haha. But i guess i can still shave some $$$$..
Do guys mind posting the prices?
*trim
*fwd/awd
*options
Big thanks

According to my USAA, you shouldn't pay more than 22k

You can use TrueCar.com
Funny how the FWD LE is 22k in Ohio and 20k in NY. Guess nobody wants FWD in the snow belt.

Just a heads up BIG,
You have to understand that each dealership is different. Depending on their average inventory count, they may or may not have volume discounts like some of the larger dealers who can carries 300+ new cars on their Lot(s).
Also, LE are brand new releases (with power seats and leather options) as compared to base ES & mid-level SE's now, so if you really are looking to get best D.O. prices - you should consider those instead of LE trim.
So instead of fighting an uphill battle -
Negotiate on a model that the sales manager are more "willing" to move > older stock (that's been on the dealer lot a couple of months) than brand spanking new (LE) units that just came off the trailer.
Just my 2 cents.

/\ thanks mR.
Yeah, i thought that too. Also, the chrome wheels on LE is an eyesore for me. I actually asked the internet manager to swap it with the SE wheels and their answer is that they are willing to do everything. Dunno, maybe they want a sale.
Question; this maybe an off topic but the only reason i am thinking of the LE is that it has balance shaft compared to lower trim.. So how is the NVH on the O.S? I checked some youtube vids and almost all review ding the noiseness & vibration. Dont get me wrong, i can live with those to some extent but not to thepoint where its reallybothersome...

If I were you, I would test drive the LE and SE before I settle down on a specific trim.

Well, the engine is definitely noisy when it's brand new, it's quieten down a little now that our motor has some miles on it (5,300+) BUT, yeah the CVT is an ear sore especially when you stomp on the gas.
So, definitely keep that in mind and go take a test drive WITHOUT the sales person preferably (that or you find one that knows how to shut up so you can Really hear what kind of noises this CUV makes).
Also, try out the paddle shifters, the revs of the motor near redline does sound sweet and drowns out any annoyances that the CVT makes.

Yeah i know CVT. I have had Murano and off the line accel is very noisy. But settles down when you are cruising.
I emailed my dealer to have a separate quote for SE fwd & awd...
I'll test drive by Saturday..

Very nice.
Yeah, for that Price.. you can barely get a Decent size econo-box sedan these days let alone a hatchback/wagon.
So what other vehicles have you test drove, to compare? Just curious.
(We know you owned the Murano)

The Mazda's was our first choice... specifically the Mazda 3 hatch.
It had plenty of space and the interior materials + Fit&Finish was top notch, and (at least it felt) had Much more power (2.0L) and refined steering response for a small econobox wagon. The 2.5L felt even better.
Driven the Mazdaspeed3 just for kicks, wow what an INSANE little beast! However, it only came in a manual which my wife can't do, reliably...

While there we also tested:
"Old" CX-7 BaseTrim. It was decent, much more interior space/volume, but lacked power. Felt slower than the O.Sports.
CX-7 turbo is Better but its MPG was hideous. Must use Premium pump gas. yikes..
Later on, tried out the CX-5 after it came out.
Great SUV, but much pricier than our O.Sports for the same tech&features.
asked about more on Mazda 3-- priced really good $18++K for i touring hatch.
*** anyway, anybody has that laguna blue O. sport? one dealer that I ignored finally emailed back (they were really priced higher) and wanted to do business. BTW, it was the gen. manager hehe.. emailed them back and told them their Sport is priced higher. got an answer that they are offering it to me @ $20,299 LE FWD.
my question is--- BLUE or WHITE? lol
