I've seen that one before, but don't think I've ever noticed his interior! I wonder if it was a direct bolt-on and if there is any difference with the American version versus the right-hand drive layout. Thanks for sharing that link!

it was nice meeting you homie.... !
two ways you can go with the install... sadly even if you lucky enough to score a mint pair of seats like I did you will always run into some issues...
issue # 1. Lancer seat brackets are not the same as the OS
after some online searching I found that only a hand ful of company's make seat brackets for the OS and my luck there only in Japan... so after some serious staring at the seat brackets I decided to swap my OS brackets to my recaros seats the plugs and sensors seemed to all line up... so I started with the passenger seat...
#1. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY! any time you messing with electrical wiring
#2 passenger seat is a complete bolt on just becareful when removing the plastic covers that are over the bolts so not to break them... you just have to becareful when disconnecting the sensors that you don't break the clips too... if you have heated seats say bye bye unless your willing to take the os seat apart to get the heated kit to install in the recaros) you should end up with a extra plug that it's for the heated seats... your going to have 3 main plugs and 4 sensors at each corner with a lil patience they all come out easily...should take you twenty minutes tops to swap the bracket...
#3 Now the driver seat (warning the driver seat is a ***** and does require a lil fabrication...
your going to need the hard ware from the recaro seat this is with the assumption that you got the seats with the brackets if you didn't get them with the brackets your going to have to go buy yourself the right size nuts and bolts...
the os seat is going to have three over size rivets and one bolt...the three rivers you are going to have to drill out or grind out...make sure to cover the seat propely not to burn the seat...took me about a hour and half to do...but make sure to take your time and locate the right rivets...
then you just plug in the sensors and the plugs
*******warning notice*******
when I installed everything I just automatically figured it would work but it was not the case!
I installed everything when I connected the battery my air bag light turned on I tried to clear the light with my cousin shop comport and nothing still on...only way around this is to take the air bag from the OS and swap it with the recaro one....I did not do this so I can not say how hard it it's too do...if notif your not the handy you're you might want a upholstery or autobody shop to do this for you
I hope this help any one trying to do this swap I'll try to post some pics soon
