I have a slightly random question, after I got my '14 O.Sport, I have received and seen coupons for "free computerized diagnostic and 27-point inspection." What does the computerized diagnostic test look like, do we as customers get a copy of the results? I ask because my dealership states they inspect free with maintenance even without any coupons, but afterwards I only receive a paper that shows the 27-point inspection. I'm almost sure I'm over thinking this since I do receive great service, but am curious enough to ask the question.

It's called a CVI Report (Computerized Vehicle Inspection).
Yes, you do get a hardcopy.
It looks like a 3-4 page pamphlet with color codes - Green, Yellow, Red (= All Good, Keep in Eye on, Warning-Need Service) covering most of the vehicle major components & subsystems.

Ok, thank you. I've been getting a single pink (customer copy) paper that only mentions Mitsubishi 27-point vehicle inspection report.

 

Well, that's part of the CVI.
When I get home I'll shot some pics of the entire report and post.

It's good to have a baseline of everything on your brand new vehicle, but don't loose any sleep over it.

 

Haha I won't, like I said I think the service is great. Who knows, where I live Mitsubishi isn't very represented, my dealership is actually in another state so maybe they don't have the equipment of larger dealerships
