Looking for a more rugged look
Looking for a more rugged look
Hello everyone, I'm touching on a topic that I know has been addressed in various ways before, but I'm looking for a more rugged look in the tire department, but having trouble finding all terrain options for the stock 18 inch/ 225/55r18 tire size, and I've even looked at winter tires (found an aggressive looking winter tire for my wifes '11 caliber, that made me slightly envious) So my question is what is the route of action, put a bigger tire such as 235/55r18, etc. or go for a different wheel/tire combo altogether? Am I even looking hard enough? Thanks for any input.

While I have this thread up, I'm also interested in some wheel well/arch trim, but seems the OEM option is quite expensive for some plastic trim. Are there any cheaper, even universal options out there that will work with the O.Sport?
I have the arch trim. I looked for other options, but its kinda hard to beat OEM. I do not have them installed yet.
Mitsubishi ASX Outdoor Edition (Brasil)
"The ASX Outdoor combines all-wheel drive before used only in versions coupled to CVT with manual five-speed transmission. Thus, the brand intends to make the most inclined to regard the model off-road in official justification to "have a new option to the Pajero TR4 orphans". The use of a detached exclusive paint launch, Orange Sunshine, indicates another goal: surfing on the wave of compact SUVs that can be comfortable in the city and mighty in the dirt."

Add a bull bar to the front (with some OR lights?) , wheel arches/side skirts, and a nice 17 or 18" rugged tire; maybe a lift kit. Debadge it and replace with some factory stickers and you should be offroadish.

So i have been looking for a more "truck/off road" tire for my 2015 OS. Whats the widest size anyone has put on without a lift or any other modifications. I found some tires i like but they are 265/60 R18. Is that too big?
