I'm pretty sure that's simply saying that you did push the start button or that things are "ready" for you to push the start button.
I may be wrong though.
just got ours and haven't finished reading the manual, but on my '08 Evo, that means the warning message can be cleared from the display.
when i put on my winter wheels (with no TPMS's), i get the tire pressure warning message at start up. after a few seconds, the "push-button" icon appears. if you hold the "INFO" button to the left of the steering wheel, the big message goes away, but the "/!\" stays on, letting you know there is a problem.
if your case, the key battery is low. hold info, that message goes away until next start up.
Its the light to tell you there is a warning message, such as the low key battery. Comes on with low tire pressure, low fuel. Stuff like that where you can cycle through the other screens on the display. I don't think you can clear it by any other way than fixing the issue, in your case, the key battery.
cheers guys.
i did press the "info" button (on my car its on the right as its RHD) and yes the "key battery low" message went but then a big exclamation mark appeared.
i should stop putting it off and go get myself a new battery
thanks for clearing this up
Thanks for clearing that up Landshark. I knew that and had completely forgot lol. I usually remember the second or third time my "service required" message comes on in the Lancer

i deal with it every damn time i start the car with my snow tires on .... the TPMS warning gets tripped AGAIN if the temp falls to 37degrees and the "icy road warning" comes on. surprised i haven't worn out the INFO button yet.
by spring time, i'm extremely glad to get the summer wheels on and not have to deal with it.
