Adding 12v outlets?

Anyone ever add any extra 12v outlets to their RVR? I'm thinking something like this: http://www.dx.com/p/vehicle-car-diy-...9#.VUOFziFViko If you have, where did you put it and how did you wire it? (I do know there is one in the console and one in the console bin, but there is always something needing to be plugged in!)

Absolute easiest way would be to get a double/triple/more? "extender" and plug it in and mount it inside the armrest or to the side of the console if using the front 12v outlet. Id put some plugs in any unused outlets so a finger doesnt get in there!

Or you could use vampire splices off of one of the existing 12v outlets.

Yeah, pretty much what I thought. The splitter is probably best. Until I can figure out how to tap 12v for my radar detector. Probably off the overhead console lights since there is no power at the mirror. I hate the thought of fishing wires through the headliner.
