Almost OT: Manual Me!

http://driving.ca/bmw/auto-news/news...-transmissions

I missed out on a sweet 5 speed manual Forester AWD when I was buying the RVR. And of course the AWD RVR/OS does not offer the option like Subaru does.

But to remove the manual from an M Series? WTH?

I'd take a Turbo Diesel and 6 speed manual in an RVR in a heart beat!!

What's next?
He'll probably say "in the future, there's no need for steering wheels and gas/brake pedals.. All ///M cars will be self-driving - just like getting into a powered wheelchair with Siri. Just speak where you want to go & seat back and enjoy the ride"

I don't know about all that...

But, what I do know is I'd like to go out JUST like Enzo Ferrari who was still driving (his creations) well into his late 80s. (The old chap passed away at age 90.) And we all know his vehicles are all Manual trans!
