I had the same problem connecting my LG V10 on for the first time so at first it asks you to follow the instructions to make the pair and on the part where the car gives you the password to make the connection (which the 4 digit number is random everytime) I would put it and say connection fair so I saw a video on YouTube saying that you need to go to the car settings and put your own personal pin for your cars Bluetooth n then try pairing again and it will work
