Any other Canucks POed by local parts prices? I shaved the butt of my RVR today but am thinking that I might want to add back the AWD decal. $5 bucks US but local dealer is asking $13 CAD. Grrr....

 

My ex's sister use to be in the parts department at a local Toyota dealership, and the cost of that stick for the dealer vs what she sold it at was her commission. So if you need at part that dealer cost was $5 and she was able to sell it to you for $13she just paid for her own lunch... it works the same all the way up to the most expensive parts.... and her sister was a great sells person... and she was racking in the doe... making much more than the sells persons.

 

Yeah, I know the markup is insane. This is even worse because I can only imagine how little the local dealership pays for the decal and the markup is probably 500-600%
