Jeep Style wheels on an OS?

Does anyone have any experience trying out jeep style wheels on an OS?

I found these steelies which all the jeep guys use, and the price on them is amazing. ($40-$80)

They have a pattern that fits our cars, and was wondering if any of you have tried them out?

The first one is 15" and the second is 16". They are both 8" wide. The 15" in diameter WILL NOT FIT as there is no clearance for the brake disks and calipers.
The second wheel might fit (4.5" backspacing on a 8" wide rim corresponds to -6 mm offset). Your limitation would be the fender clearance "Tire will stick out 67 mm farther. Rim will stick out 71 mm farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset." If you want your speedometer to stay accurate you would need to put 245x60/16 tires. Here is the essential information what you need to read if you want to fiddle with tires:

Here is how it looks if you go with my suggestion:
http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whee...=30mm&scl=50mm
( I selected the 215x70/16 (6.5, 46) size for the original as this arrangement still fits; if you select the 225x55/18 (7, 46) the calculator assumes that (it was already a tight fit) there is no space for the disks/calipers.
I think you want to have a tire that gives you offroading capabilities and that requires high aspect ratio. I am not sure that you can get this with the wheel you are aiming for. Good luck.
