2016 Outlander Sport unveiled , what do you think?

Im glad i got a 2015, the new front end looks too busy. Also they got rid of the LED running lights which I thought looked great and modern on the 2015. LED running lights are all the rage right now. Its a case of 1 step forward, 2 steps back.......

I thought they just moved them into the headlight casings like they did on the 17 mirage.

Regardless, I like it, I just wish they would've updated the rear as well. Still looks good in my opinion though.

Meh. Nothing special. I was hoping for more. It looks like they could not decide what front end to use so they pasted a couple on there.

Oh dear lord..........

So, all they did was to change the front bumper and added some bits on the interior.

I am so underwhelmed.

Opportunity lost! ALL of the body panels are the same. And aren't the rims off the full size Outlander?

The problem is that there IS NOTHING there. At least nothing you can't get on AliExpress.

IF all Mitsu wants to do for 2016 is to throw us some cheap & simple facelift then all they should have done is to go back into their 2011 parts bin and given us their old designs...

Behold!
Their original frontend, I'd actually would pay money to have this instead >

looks fine to me. Very similar to the 2016 Outlander.
I want wheel arches, and the folding mirrors.

A full redesign should be soon though.

+1 on the folding mirrors. You should be able to get the arches.

And I hope you are right about the full redesign. What they have previously shown, as opposed to just released, is far more likely to be a success. This latest - not so much.

i thought maybe the interior might be improved, but its pretty much the same, but the steering wheel is worse. i dont like the audio/ bluetooth controls placement.

Wow I like it a lot! If the headlights do in fact have built-in LED's now then that'd be an interesting retrofit. I don't mind the new bumper either. The wheel arches scare me, they collect water and just act as a catalyst for rust to develop. The fender side indicaters are also pretty tacky, like the ones on eBay.

Interior looks nice with the two tone! Not too over the top but it's a nice change.
