Look at that price tag... That's why.
Mitsu is stretching themselves into BMW X3 price territory!

Price from: $45,000
Warranty: 5 years/100,000km
Capped Servicing: Yes. Price TBA
Service Intervals: 12 months/15,000km
Safety: 5 stars
Engine: 2.4-litre 4-cyl turbo diesel, 133kW/430Nm
Transmission: 8-speed auto; 4WD
Thirst: 8.0L/100km
Dimensions: 4785mm (L), 1815mm (W), 1805mm (H), 2800mm (WB)
Weight: 2045kg
Spare: Full size
Towing: 3100kg

However, looking 8-speed (traditional) transmission and the capable 4WD with 5 years warranty does make it attractive compared to other SUVs on the market.

I believe the price is in Australian Dollar, so the US price would only be USD 31,500 (1 AUD=0.7 USD).

front end looks better than what they have in the US, but that giant blind spot on each rear corner is a "no thank-you".
