If you're Have OCD etc you may hear a lot of different sounds that you may think is a problem but usually isn't.

So here's my concern, a horrible sound is emitting from the front passenger wheel well/passenger foot area whenever I hit a pothole or coming down from a speed bump. This occurs when driving and the suspension feels loose. Just had an alignment done.
I can describe it like a "Womp scratch/rub" Makes me feel sick.

anyone have any suggestions what this might be or experience?

 

I'd start by checking to see if the wheel is bolted on correctly. Had that happen after a tire changeover - now I do my own. Then test the strut/shock. Look for leaks.
