Larger Brakes?

Haven't really searched yet, but I have a theory that I haven't attempted to do yet but will probably be looking to do next spring....

So, I'm a parts guy, so I'm looking at part numbers all day long.

My 15 OS GT shares the same pad and rotors as like a 12 Dodge Avenger or 14 Chrysler 200... Now, both of those have larger brakes available on the V6 models. On those cars, knuckles are the same between 4 and 6 cylinder. In theory, those larger Pads / Rotors / Calipers should bolt right up to our OS, probably needing backing plates from a Mopar as well. I haven't had the need for larger brakes, currently running Stoptech D/S rotors with Duralast Elite pads and it stops great. But to me... bigger is better.

Has anyone else attempted this yet? Or know of any other options that may work? Going back to my Grand Am days, I was running a GM big brake kit, Camaro calipers and Impala rotors.

Since Mitsubishi is a dying car company in the US, you're probably going to have to do this one on your own.

I applaud you for being a pathfinder. Definitely want to know how this goes. It would be great if you documented it.

Good Luck!

Larger brakes

Has anyone tried swapping evo x steering knuckles on? Im assuming someone has tried bolting evo X brakes to the OS knuckles and it didn't work for some reason?
