Yea I know what you mean, although thats why I said older steel roofed evo. AMS said the MR roof is the same weight.

On another note whats a good place to for gunmetal wheels to get a chip touched up or fixed? Only places I know of it G2motorsports or Alloy wheel repair in Bothell.

its not just about the amount of weight that it saves but where that weight is located at the car, obviously you want your weight lower so that makes more of a difference then just loosing "x" amount of pounds

So today was kind of ghey..

I had to go to court because of my no license plate ticket; all good and well, my responsibility. Ticket got reduced to $93 instead of $215, again good and well, was happy with the out come. I go to leave the court house parking lot and i shlt you not 30 feet out of the parking lot I passed a cop, I see him start to turn around, and I just pull over, I mean he is not even done turning around/doesnt have his lights on yet by the time im stopped and the cars off with the keys on the roof.

*having my license/insurance/registration hanging out the window while he gets out of the car* I notice its the same cop that stopped me a few weeks back for exhaust.

Him* I dont think you want another ticket (referring to me just leaving the court house)
me* okay
him* do you know why i stopped you
me* my exhaust or tint, but probably my exhaust
him* ding ding ding
him* when are you getting that fixed
me* I am in the process of trying to find a quiter one that still yields the power
him* I dont care what the ***c you do but you need to fix it
me* okay thank you, have a nice weekend

Thats pretty much word for word.

Cliffs.... I am gonna try and avoid federal way as much as possible.

Time to sell the ol' 3.5in exhaust eh. Stock with a cutout on the downpipe...kinda enjoyable to be quiet. I wish we could have bi-mode exhausts like the Z06. I just drive in neutral by a cop or in 6th gear bogging

I usually just push the clutch in when drive by a cop. but I haven't had any problems with my tint and exhaust yet. Port Angeles city cops don't really give a damn about your modified parts. state patrol is the worse. I hate those f**kers

The most awesome splitter ever. Started as an APR, now it dominates. Fully adjustable angle of attack, and strong enough to stand on.
