Haha. I just had a conversation about that with Jake and Shane. Anyway, exactly. If I put a pic of myself up, especially a promo pic, it'd be like putting myself out there and I would expect nasty remarks and stuff. So, no thanks!
Thankfully that hasn't happened and I've been to quite a few meets and never had a problem or anything. Maybe cause I'm actually nice and real and don't send off the check me out vibes and stuff. Then again, I'm an owner, not just a groupie or something, so so far I've gotten nothing but respect from the guys. Hope it stays that way!
well, i was joking. Besides, my GF hates it when I flirt with other girls in front of her (for some reason).
With luck the trend of not having incidents with gross men will continue!

OMFG, my buddy just called me from SEMA and got me a killer deal on some carnuba wax!
"Wolfgang Füzion Estate Wax is a hand-crafted emulsion of the world’s finest white carnauba wax, German “Super” Polymers, and proprietary ingredients. Instead of relying solely on manmade ingredients, Wolfgang Füzion Estate Wax draws upon nature’s finest wax to take advantage of its breathtaking shine and visual liquidity. Combined with our cutting edge polymers, white carnauba wax takes on a gloss, depth, and dimension unmatched by other synthetic waxes."
Normally $175 for a tub of this, He picked it up for less than half of that, AND got the "free refill" card! Woot woot!!!!

WHEEEeeeeHHHHHEEEEeeee!!! My inner detailing geek just went on orgasmo-mode!

is the initial cold start clutch chatter THAT normal for MRs?? ive got 60k on the ticker and just bought my new clutch (bought car with 38k).
Gonna do the install myself (with 2 friends)...buuut the more i read, it seems its fairly common to have clutch chatter on inital starts. I think my clutch IS on its last leg...as the chatter is quite nasty at 1500rpm rev takeoffs, and pedal engagement waay up top. However under load (5th gear @30-40- WOT) the clutch still holds and no abnormal slipping.
call me a noob to the EVO world, but im pretty sure its not supposed to be like. Again, ive come from the world of S2000s...and it doesnt take much to get those cars moving, and its def different from an evo.
other things ive noticed is...
a whirring on decel (in gear) almost like a very slightly worn our bearing. might be normal as these cars make lots of noise already!
an odd howl (maybe TOB) on first few take-offs as the clutch barely engages...then i dont notice it later when the car is all warmed up.
also as i press the clutch pedal in... i can hear squeaking/creaking from outside the car.... possibly something with the fork/slave cylinder?
thoughts...??

Mine is almost at 40k (had it since new) and I don't notice any of the above. The only thing I notice when cold is of course idle is a bit higher as it warms up and the car feels like it is waiting for a coffee for the first few blocks. You should go for a "cold ride" with someone to see if you notice anything. It could be that I'm just use to what I have?
BTW - which clutch did you go with?

yeah, might have to do that, kinda hard to compare it to something when i havent been in any other MR . Im not looking forward to doing all this work...just to find out theres plenty of meat still on the clutch disk. HAHA but at least ill have piece of mind, and all will be replaced/fixed.
being that i DD the car and only autocross it here and there....aand only plan to hit the 350whp mark, i decided on the Exedy Stage 1 kit (if you wanna give it a stage lol).

Yea, the more I researched this line of products, the more good reviews I hear.... very excited to get this product in my detail lineup.
For us local guys there are alog of good, cost effective products from Griots Garage. But their polishes just dont cut the mustard in terms of paint correction capabilities.
Dont hate the player, hate the game.
