Yeah has a purpose. but only if ur using it for drifting, rally, autocross or something like that. at the drag strip and daily driving like i do with it. its just there for show. lol but i love both looks. they are just super clean w/o them in my opinion.

I wouldn't say silly, but IMO it needs a little something back there than just nekkid trunk lid. One of the first mods I did was get a CF trunklid (EvoDave since it is CF inside and out) as I get much less attention from kids with cars and the pig, plus I can see a hell of a lot better out the rear-view.

 

Third, move to vote.

 

Its a shame that CF resin he used was so cheap. There is no fixing the sun-damage that his products are prone to.
