Hey everyone, common down to Golden Gardens beach Saturday 8/11 for an evening of fun and BBQ. I'm planning on getting a list together and doing a potluck style BBQ. There's plenty of fun to be had from volleyball to bonfires so get on out and enjoy the summer with some friends. I'm also going to talk to the parks dept and see If we can reserve a portion of the parking lot so we can get some good pictures.

Directions:

I-5 Northbound or Southbound:

Take exit to 85th St and head west.
Follow 85th West to 32nd Ave. NW
Take a left onto 32nd Ave. NW
Travel south until NW 54th St
Take a right onto NW 54th St
Follow NW 54th St which turns into Seaview Ave NW to the entrance of the park.

Parking:

Large parking lot along beach & park with overflow parking lot east of park. Plenty of handicapped spots available.

Rules:

• As always no speeding, reving, burning out, or doing anything stupid at any meet location.

• Park closes @11:30 PM

• No Alcohol in public parks. (if you should decide to ignore this rule please be descrete IE redcups and keep yourself under control )

I'd like to keep it that way for the most part Evo's DSM's some subies if they're cool. I just want to keep it low key and relaxed don't want to turn it into an all out throwdown to see who's car is better I'm not posting it on any subbie sites only on here. That being said if they're cool invite em out we don't discriminate.

There is no way that you will get a reserved parking area at that time frame. It will be very full.

The fact that parks and rec hasnt resolved the tripple long parking stalls for boats/trailers on days when parking is at 130% of capacity is shocking enough. Its been problematic for the past 5-8 years.

One car will park at the start of the stall for fear of being blocked in. Horay! 30 cars block what could have fit 90 cars.
