I have a 2003 EVO which I bought new. Currently has 55K miles. Was just sitting at a red light, and someone rear ended an ancient Ford Festiva which was behind me & drove it into my rear bumper. Car drives fine, but the bumper cover is shot, and there is some sheet metal damage to the areas of the trunk floor on the left & right, (the area which is over the muffler on the right) and I had to deflate the spare to remove it from the well in the trunk floor. Also, the trunk lid gaps are now uneven, the trunk jams (will open if you lift up on it), & the left rear door is not closing properly (closes, but makes an odd "ill fitting" noise). I need a referral to a good body shop in the Seattle area, and especially the northern part of the sound/Everett areas (I live in Mill Creek). If anyone knows of a REALLY GOOD body shop in the area, please pass on their name! I'm inclined to just use a dealer, at least they'll be familiar with the car. And suggestions/thoughts appreciated.

+1 for bel-kirk in kirkland, ask for Tyler. Maybe use this as an opportunity to swap to a JDM 9 rear. Check driveline motoring (painted) or mitsubishiparts.net (unpainted).

 

Fleury's Body Shop in Crown Hill, Seattle. I've never seen a car leave there that didn't look pristine. I'm a technician and do alignments for them and they never cut corners. Only place I would take my evo.

 

Thanks for the continued suggestions. I called the "guilty party's" insurer today, still waiting to hear back from them. I'm definitely keeping the 2 shops suggested in mind.
