VTR's Annual Holiday food drive starts Oct 1st!


Here are the rules: Each forum will be given a designated area for there donations. On November 22nd the Friday before Thanksgiving we will transport all of the donations to the Everett VOA for the weigh in.

The forum with the most donations gets on the perpetual plaque in our showroom. Last year the Evo forums won. Who will it be this year? Time to get organized and show that your crew understands how important community involvement is.

If you know someone who hasn't been working, or has had to take a job with less pay. You should be donating.


Recommended items:

Canned foods
Dry food
anything non-perishalble
Here are some other items recommended on the VOA website.

Baby essentials, including diapers, baby wipes and formula
School supplies and backpacks, leading into school
Summer camp equipment and supplies
Holiday toy and gift drive
Shoes and boots - anytime!
Household and laundry cleaners, toiletries and feminine personal hygiene products

Cash donations will be taken again this year. Remember $1 is = to 6lbs of food.

In the last four years this food drive has donated over 24,000 lbs of food to the food bank. Time to dig deep and help those less fortunate than us.

I figgered...Tyler's a heeoore for food drives.

 

So we:

- collect food
- eat the collected food
- then drive???

Perfect. Im in for suuuure.

I guess I can chime in here too. I got something cooking again this year but wont do it unless we get a showing like we got last year.

 

what? just donate either way, it's not like it's a bad cause. you should need to win something or receive recognition to have incentive to donate

 

OK EVO's. The Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ forum just had a large donation equaling 240 lbs of food. They are now in the lead. Plenty of time left today, to take the lead...
ANYONE?????

 

I'm still going to donate either way. What I am saying is that if no one from evom donates ill just make it anonymous. Last year was the first time we as an Evo community actually donated and I'd like to see the trend continue. The first 3 years was just a select few of us trying to win our friendly competition.

 

Do we just drop the food off at the vtr shop?
