114 mph with race gas is common with your mods but not with 93 octane. Good job.

Thanks...I did dyno it on a Mustang but with a leaky Turbo XS boost controller. With pump gas at 20.5 psi falling to 17 psi it put out 260whp. On unleaded race/pump gas mix, I am peaking at 25 psi and falling to about 19.5 psi. Haven't dyno'd it that way yet.

It was a mix of 93 unleaded and VP109 unleaded.

There's no way I can beat that yellow monster His trap speed was 129 mph on that run, but at the end of the day I saw him doing low 11's at 133 mph I don't know what mods he had on that C5 but he was putting some serious power, probably NOS and the big 427 ci conversion.

Sergio,

Illo Carlito que...? es el Juaqui eh?

I predict you can break into the 11's. Just do like James Bond, fold the mirrors, removed the spare tire, remove the floor mats, go to the track with minimal gas on the gas tank and as a last resource buy a couple of gallons of 99OCT fuel.

Good luck!!

hahahaha!! illo Carlito que?

Yeah man, I'll follow each one of your advices to see if they give me that little extra oomph that I need in order to get into the 11's. Every little thing counts at this point. I don't know what type of race gas they have at that track, but Tommy (4G63 T) told me last week that it was leaded, and I don't know if that can harm my O2 sensor. It won't ruin my cat since I have a test pipe (duh!).
However, I will not run 100% race gas. I will mix 2 gallons of 104 (just guessing the octane) once I have 2-3 gallons of regular 93 left in the tank. I will then have to do some math to find out the final octane rate I was using.

Ese Corvette no soy pa cojerlo Carlito! anda tela de cuqui!

I have a mail in flash on my MR and with it I was able to get a 12.8x, with tha addition of a test pipe I ran a 12.61@107.9 . I want to get a baseline run on the PDT dyno and then again after my full 3 inch exhaust, and thaen again after tuning the MAFTpro running speed density! Congrats on the nice run.

Wow! 12.6 @ 108 with just a TP and a mail-in flash is absolutely amazing, perhaps the best time I've ever seen in this forum with just those two mods; 05 Evos with TP and flash should be around 240ish whp on a mustang dyno, but the 108 trap speed indicates that you are in the 270ish whp range. I think you have an exceptional Evo. Congrats

BTW, Capitol Raceway was closed. I drove 70 miles to Cecil County Dragway just to find out that it was also closed. The web site says closed due to freezing conditions...I wished I could've check their web site before I left What a waste of gas and freeway toll
