DYNO R&D with EVO9

I have absolutely no idea yet what is safe on pump gas, but we can at least surmise with the bigger compressor housing that it probably can run a slightly higher pressure ratio at the same airflow point compared to the VIII turbo while remaining in a higher efficiency island, right?
By they way ... nice results Nick :-) I love to see vendors posting R&D data, even on high reading dynos
j/k sounds like you have that under control now.All we need to do now is talk to TopSpeed

This car has DP only, MBC, 264/272 cams, Intake and thats it.
We are flashing her in the morning.

Thanks on the R&D part. I wanted to show a step by step progression of the tuning process. It only took a few pulls to dial the car in well after the timing was checked and set.
On a side note: Does anyone know of a track that is open any where in the proximety of our state?
Since we don't have one around us that is open right now, we can't get track times.
This particular customer has absolutely no problem with going.

Well here ya go guys,
This car made great peak numbers without even a tune.
He put the cams in, MBC, and down pipe. Along with a BOV the car is as it stands pretty fast. He was and is running 22 PSI falling to 19 with a Perrin MBC.
That is all the Boost the customer wanted. The limiting factor for this car would be that he is still running the factory cat and catback exhaust system.
He wanted a quiet car he said that is why he never changed it. So when we get his exhaust in I will update the thread.
The car is much smoother now with obviously much more midrange HP and TQ

Another strange thing is that the car seemed to be tuned before.
I know the customer pretty well, so when he bought this car he brought it by. It seemed that it already had mods done to it and taken out when traded in.
The A/F on the car was pretty decent as well. But now it has an Ecutek based flash none the less. So he's happy.
He will be happier once the exhaust goes on.
