Need some help with openport

Guys please I need some help I have looked every where and unable to source out installation step by step guide on making this thing work. I have looked every where can anyone help me please.

1st of all I have managed to install the drivers for the openport cable.
2nd I both have evo-scan and also EcuFlash on my laptop. But can’t get it connected.
3rd of all when I plug in my cable all my diff lights flash and also my computer light.

Can some one please help??????????

Also another thing this cable that I have purchased lets you fine tune your car right?
So just say for instance if I give it to some one to Dyno tune my car they can do it with Ecu Flash?

Because I took it my tuner and he was laughing at me when I told him that it could be done and also I want to get the last laugh:lol:

I'm talking about Mitsulogger + zT2

Yeah its a mathematical error that I never caught because I didn't run boost that high in testing..

Jack,

I am attempting to use Mitsulogger to log both data from the ECU and from a UTEC. Here is the error I am recieving. Is there something I am doing wrong? I can see the UTEC data being logged in the debug window, and the logger works fine when only logging information from the ECU.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

If my EVO is idling rough, around 600-650 at times, is there anyway I can raise the idle? I was told it was raised, but for some reason it still idles rough.

Thanks

You ever have any luck with this? I've been using evoscan 0.99 due to this problem... I can't get 1.0 to work with my zt2 at all... I just get 0's in my logs.

TouringBubble Oct 30, 2007 07:06 AM

Here is a good one ...

What does the temperature compensation table actually do? Does it skew fueling, timing, load, airflow? I've adjusted it successfully, but I don't know if anyone really knows what it does.

MalibuJack Oct 30, 2007 12:26 PM

the negative number thing in Mitsulogger was an integer error, values over a certain point would show as negative.. I never tested over 25psi (because I didn't have the ZT2 installed in a car when I wrote the software)

It was fixed in later maintainence versions of Mitsulogger that were never released due to my work on the v2.0 version of mitsulogger is a complete rewrite.

Malibujack,

I tried to installed the InstallInnovate file to get my LC-1 to work with mitsulogger, but I keep getting an error after a dos-prompt window comes up, the error message comes up and thats as far as it goes, I've attached an image of what the error message is...any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

MalibuJack Nov 10, 2007 07:22 PM

Thats a vista specific error, you need to open the command prompt with administrator rights and manually register it. It took me almost a day to figure out why that was happening.
