Lol. Rsf
No i have not performed a fuel pressure test. I will try and get my hands on a guage today. So it should be 43.5 base with or without vaccum line? And 43.5+ boost? On boost it should increase 1:1 http://norcalmotorsports.org/users/b...essureCT9A.png |
You should be aware by now that there's no way in hell a stock FPR can control the pressure of a 450 pump.
Likewise "speed density" on fuel temp isn't speed density so it'll never work right either. The tune will change with the weather. You're also going to see a spike in fuel pressure when the hobbs switch operates. Changing injector latency is pointless because the required latency depends on fuel pressure which in your case is now a variable.

Car went from running great to now when i do wot pulls as soon as i hit 20 psi or so you feel either a studder or misfire. And wideband spikes lean. Not quite "running great" ? It's called "creeping death". It gets worse with time. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-up-boost.html https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ge...ark-plugs.html |

OP already knows the fuel pressure is out of spec but chose to ignore it.......from here.

Fuel pressure it was tuned for won't cause new issues. Slight tune changes due to weather also won't cause this large of an issue.
Something is going on, you should not have had to adjust your tune as much as you did, suddenly seeing -12 trims, adjusting, then seeing -12 trims again means something is amiss. That doesn't just "happen". Does your car still have the fuel pressure solenoid? If it does, it could be stuck closed, so your FPR isn't seeing vacuum to drop fuel pressure in low load situations, and its not seeing boost to raise fuel pressure. |

Im gonna throw some new plugs in soon. I feel like it became less sputtery with the smaller gap at 0.19. Maybe my coils are tired. I measured resistance. Its with in spec but you never know. |

The difference is when I realize I'm wrong about something I will want to correct myself, because unlike you, I would rather admit when I'm wrong and move on. I also don't claim to be certain of things im not certain of. Notice how i couched my statement with "You would think"? Thats because I'm not claiming my answer as fact. You on the other hand like to preach fuel pressure like its a certainty but TBH I have never seen you give a single piece of supporting evidence to back up any of your BS claims. Like the 450 claim of over running the regulator...sure it might over run the regulator with the pump at full tilt and the injectors doing nothing, but in reality it never operates that way.

Is there any way to datalog injector duty cycle? Just to see what the ECU is telling the injectors to do at that moment.

Just IPW itself doesn't tell the whole story though. |

yes i logged the stutter but idc seems fine. no drop off or something.
It's a stutter and not a "I just hit a brick wall and my car wants to throw me through the windshield", right? |
