I was hoping to show some VD graphs now that it is colder outside. VD won't read the Haltech logs because it is having issues with the TPS values. I thought it would be good to show RPM vs boost response, which was done in 3rd gear. I get 31psi by 4156rpm.

I converted to SD with the Haltech Platinum Pro and decided to get a baseline tune. Car is running ~30psi on 93 octane with timing at 0deg(4250rpm) ramped to 8deg(8000rpm). AFR was 11:1 across the board and the outside temperature was ~92deg. Dyno runs are done in 3rd gear with 30psi at ~4200rpm.

SETUP

The title of the dyno graph claims that it is GTX3576 {thumbup}

Thanks and it was very responsive. That setup ran an ATP 1.06 T4 TS turbine housing cut for the 35r wheel.

Yes it is perfect result with that turbo size and stock engine, stock ccm !
The turbine houseing was ordered for GT30 but modded for GT35r turbine wheel ?

ATP cuts the 1.06a/r T4 TS for both a GT30r and GT35r turbine wheel. I sold the old turbo and just ordered a new housing.

Why did you not go higher with octane to really push the 3576 to see what it could do?

I reworked the fuel system for E85, but found the local station no longer sells E85. I did just find 100octane close by for $6.99/gallon so I will likely see what it can do at higher boost levels(35-37psi) in the near future.

following your threads for ages now, but JUST noticing you are in NC. Do you frequent any tracks, or autox the car at all?

No, but I typically attend Cars & Coffee the first Saturday of every month in Charlotte.

for the VD discrepency with boost and afr plotting, I found that you need both LogEntryTime and LogEntrySeconds in the log in order for it to work. They can both be exactly the same.

What part of Charlotte are you in? The only 2 stations we have in the area now is the BP in Waxhaw off of Cuthbertson Road and the BP on Pence Road. I highly recommend the Waxhaw station though considering Pence station runs out frequently whereas the one in Waxhaw has never ran in the the past 2 years and tests as 88-90% everytime. {thumbup}

That station is 33 miles from my house so not feasible long term. I was told to check two stations in Gastonia that may have E85.

Does this mean to date...... there are no balls out maxing out gtx3576R's on a evo 9?

Not taking anything away from this thread, but the turbo he's using is not a full on GTX35R. It's a GTX3076 compressor wheel with a GT35R turbine wheel. It spools very fast for sure, but you guys need to consider how much the head porting does for spool. My CNC'd head gained roughly 500rpm in spool up. The fact that Kurt Brown did the headwork for Jim would lead me to believe he's experiencing similar gains in spool as well.
