Well I had the BBK which is almost similar to the FP green. Now I have SS FP Red to different beast. MHI give you torque at low RPM (twin scroll) and spool faster and the SS torque come in later and flow better at high rpm. That is my personnal experience

I have same experience on the SS red, nothing, then bam

Buy it!! That's a great street/strip turbo! It's only a tiny bit laggier than 71HTA. At that price, it's a no brainer.

Rob_STI_PNW Sep 12, 2018 09:57 AM

yeah thats the plan, dude wont reply now

It's a bummer when you find an awesome deal, then they quit replying. :crap: On the bright side, I just picked up another 71HTA for about $450ish. I'm stoked.

And autox & road course. I've been regretting selling mine since the day I let it go  Will be keeping this one unless, one day, I decide to build another engine.

It's not about the peak power, but the fat powerband.

Not a lot. Being on e-85 helps keep things cool, but I don't track the car at more than 25psi, tapering to 18-20psi. So, while torque and power will be pretty much instantaneous, it will most likely only be right around 400-425whp. Torque will be limited by my OEM shortblock.

It's not going to be the most powerful car out there, but it will be one of the most fun, which is what I'm after, since I don't race for cash or prizes. :D

Yeah if this guy bails, ill go with a rebuilt red from Tyler

Which is kind of what I was wanting, the MHI red to begin with, gave the SS a chance when they did black friday, totally regret
