Lag can be tuned away to a large extent with proper cam timing and ignition. On the IX, MIVEC can be used to give high advance at low rpm to greatly benfit spool.

The appeal of this turbo is it doesnt make parts that you or I already own obsolete, nor does it require the purchase of a whole new "kit" for it to function. Are there systems that make more power? Sure if you want considerably more lag you can have a GT35 or GT37 or larger. But then you run into alot more headaches.

What I dont understand is if YOU(not directed to Trinydex) dont think its a good buy and YOU arent going to buy it, why badmouth it? Go buy a 50 trim and spend twice as much, then sell the parts you cant use for a loss. Thats what makes this country great, there is a deal every minute.

Looking forward to seeing the results with this turbo, but this kind of stuff doesn't help anyone.

i actually think the lt is a good if not great option. it's what everyone has been waiting for. while 500 is not insignificant i think a lot of people will take it for the benefits it gives you. afterall that's what all this is about minimizing losses while trying to maximize gains. there is no such thing as "too much lag" only lag that is unacceptable for the customer's application.

and i bring it up because why shouldn't you compare minute details on a scientific measurement tool if your process is correct? point is... processes aren't correct these days. and if they "are" then why not compare minute details?

David this looks like another solid product coming from your shop. I would be interested in the details/performance of the final version.

i've also been out of the loop for awhile. I thought the IX turbo has already been converted to a 20-g? What's this new turbo you guys are talking about?

The new turbo is great, on my car feels like stock spool, +100 ft#'s torque, first pass yeilded 10.5@129.1, 104 in the 1/8th(5mph over stocker), there is way more in it. If I were to drive the car every day this is the ONLY turbo I would consider, I pitty the fool who want's to race me from a stoplight when this turbo is on my car. :)

C'mon already, release this thing so we can see some results!! :D

for all u people who think Buschur's 20g-9-5 sucks u are dead wrong. i love it and i know many others that do as well.

^^ditto on that. If there isnt a huge wait like the 20G-9-5 I will upgrade for sure ;)
