Indy, do you have a delivery update?
|
^ The rails have returned from hard coat, gone through post QC, and have been sent to the lazer engraver. We will be shipping these out in the middle of next week. The coating came out awesome and is the only proper way to protect the rail from E85. I will post up photos as soon as they hit the door. Thanks, Indy

Update: Things have been running a little late, but the rails are on their way to Indy. As soon as they get here we will ship all the rails out the same day. Thanks, Indy

Just got the rails late today :), we will start shipping rail kits tomorrow {thumbup}. |
Mine was at my doorstep today. Hope to install it tomorrow along with finishing up my TB shaft seal replacement.

I'm surprised that I haven't heard more from people on the rail. I've got my injectors out being cleaned and will finish up my install next week. Not sure I'm pushing the fuel system enough to cause uneven pressure along the rail, but the rail is good insurance and lays the groundwork for a bigger turbo in the coming months.
One tip for people using ID1000 injectors - The adapter tubes that came with earlier versions of these injectors had a slightly larger than stock o-ring which made them a snug fit in the stock fuel rail. The injector receiving holes in the Indy Evo rail are ever so slightly smaller diameter than stock (around 0.003" to 0.005" smaller diameter), and this is just enough to make it impossible to fit the ID1000 injectors into the Indy Evo rail. The solution is get some slightly smaller orings that ID is now including with the current ID1000 injector kits. |
Indy,
Just out of interest you know what kind of laser engraver you guy has? |
