#2) Pump gas dyno's will be out soon enough. I think Dave was right to compare the two turbo's running flat out. #3) I don't think you'd have a whole lot of success keeping con-rods inside your block if you ran this turbo all out on a stock block. |
Those are some pretty nice gains over the Red turbo. I'm interested to see how it does on a non built car. Good Test.

The turbo comes with the HD actuator and the oil line kit. That is not the i/c pipe kit. |

I think pushing this turbo on a stock block with all the bolt-ons might be a little too much like RTErnie said.
David, do you think running this turbo on a stock block safely will even be worth it? I think you will end up having to cut so much of the turbos potential it will end up being a waste. |
Thanks for the info Dave, 40 psi is just gettin ridiculous.
Wonder if this will be the end of the FP turbo line for the Evo 8/9's for a while. Stock block + HTA82 = carnage. Good luck to anyone willing to sacrafice their block for the experiment. - Steve |
