I had a Works CK2, installed by Works, never felt good, did not last 15K. When they pulled my stock one out at 15K there was plenty of material left. When I took the CK2 out after its 15K there was no material left. Not sure if their install was correct, but it definitely did not last.

I have an exedy metallic twin now. Not sure if I love it. Look at that one, the ACT XDSS or ACT 6 puck and maybe consider the Carbonetics stuff. None of the other twins will last. HorsepowerFreaks.com has there own clutch that looks interesting, Feramic material, but I can't find any reviews. The pressure plate on the heavier exedy single is really heavy.

Make sure you find someone who knows how to adjust the clutch properly. I had to adjust the upper clutch stop/switch in addition to the master cylinder link to get good action out of the exedy twin, it seemed to want a longer stroke than the stock.

Sooo, how do you like the new clutch?

I'll let you know next week, it's still up on a lift at AMS.

The clutch is in but, they're putting all of the rest back together.

Love the ACT HDSS feels exactly like stock Evo clutch.

Much easier to use than the Exedy stage 2.

Sooo much easier, nice light clutch pedal, no chattering noises, easy for anyone to drive.

Only negative is that the mass of the street disk is enough to make the engine rev up slower like stock.

I'll have to adjust for how much throttle blip it now needs for downshifts.

Definitely a good replacement clutch.

Thanks for all of your input, it was quite helpful.

I'm going to buy the HDSS for my next clutch. I'll also come back and keep everyone posted. Should all happen in the next week or two. Thanks for all the reviews and information everyone.

Good thread. My Exedy stg 2 4 Puck was performing well but looked like hell (missing chunks) & had 3 cracks on the hub (2 all the way through).

I'm doing some research on the ACT clutches.
